Call for papers

We are pleased to inform you that the Association of Medical Physicist, Ministry of Health Malaysia (PERFEKS) in collaboration with Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) and Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri (JKN) Johor will be organizing the International Conference on Radiation Safety & Security in Healthcare Services 2019 at Johor Darul Takzim, Malaysia.

 

 ‘Towards Better Practices: Achieving Radiation Protection Goals’- Theme of the conference this year that aims to update and refresh the knowledge in radiation safety and security among the medical & medical related staff especially the front liners in the Radiology, Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopaedics and Dental Departments fostering better collaboration among physicians, surgeons, oncologist, radiologist, cardiologist, physicist and paramedics by providing opportunities to present and updates various new technologies and methods that can help improve services to patient while improving the safety of the workers and public.

 

 We have been engaged to lines of expert speakers locally and internationally especially from International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). They are pleased to share their expertise with us. There are also papers and poster presentations. Join us.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

 

Abstract Submission ICoRSSiHS2019

 

Special Note:

Only registered participants/ delegates/ members are allowed to submit the abstract for oral/ poster presentation. Therefore, the participants/ delegates/ members need to pay the fee as specified in the ICoRSSiHS2019’s registration form.

 

  1. All abstracts are to be submitted in English.

  2. The abstract need to be brief – not more than 250 words in MS word format.

  3. Please choose the appropriate theme related to your abstract.

  4. The title should be short and concise.

  5. Abstract theme fonts must be ‘Times New Roman”, 1.5 line spacing and center aligned.

  6. Abstract title in caps font size must be 14, bold.

  7. Author and co-author name and affiliations must be with font size 12, bold.

  8. Abstract format-introduction, Objective, Materials & Methods, Result, Discussion, and Conclusion.

  9. You may use standard abbreviations however, mention unusual abbreviations in after the full brackets words when it appears for the first time.

  10. Use numerals to indicate numbers, except when beginning the sentences.

  11. The first author will be the contact person for all the correspondence about the presentation.

  12. All abstracts and registration (as specified in paragraphs 19), (in both .doc/.docx and .pdf format) must be submitted via the conference website or conference email ONLY. Hardcopy of the abstract will not be accepted.

  13. All Submissions will be acknowledged by email. So, please provide your current working Email ID along with Mobile phone number.

  14. By submission of an Abstract, the author transfers copyright ownership to the organizing committee for publications. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reproduce the abstract/ presentation made in a conference in print or electronic media.

  15. The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts & the acceptance will be communicated to the presenting author by August 15th, 2019.

  16. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to allocate a session time or change the presentation type.

  17. The last date for submission of Abstracts is July 31st, 2019 to icorssihs@gmail.com and syaruliman@gmail.com.

  18. Upon submission, within 72 hours, abstract applicants will receive a notification of receipt from the Conference Secretariat by email.

  19. The author shall register by fill-up both ‘Abstract Registration Form’ and ‘Registration of Attendance’. Please refer to ICoRSSiHS2019 website for more detail.
